SPECIAL FILM SCREENING + Q&A WITH DR HELEN YOUNG

If doctors cannot follow their medical ethics what will happen to their patients?

Hundreds of people who sought asylum in Australia remain held in Papua New Guinea and Nauru, and the Australian government wants to stop them from accessing critical medical care.

Doctors have had their their medical decisions repeatedly overridden by politicians and bureaucrats, who want to prevent people from getting treatment in Australia.

Despite being threatened with imprisonment, they have continued to speak out.

“If I would have played it by the book I’d have said nothing and watched these patients die.” – Former Chief Medical Officer Dr Nick Martin
