Amnesty NSW Refugee Network presents a film screening of ‘Human Flow’, the critically acclaimed film directed by the visionary Ai Weiwei.

More than 65 million people around the world have been forced from their homes to escape famine, climate change and war, the greatest displacement since World War II. Filmmaker Ai Weiwei examines the staggering scale of the refugee crisis and its profoundly personal human impact. Over the course of one year in 23 countries, Weiwei follows a chain of urgent human stories that stretch across the globe, including Afghanistan, France, Greece, Germany and Iraq.

The film screening will be followed by a Q & A facilitated and chaired by Amnesty as well as our renowned guest speaker, Professor Mary Crock who is a Professor of public law at the University of Sydney, accredited specialist in immigration law, consultant to the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (on immigration detention) and consultant to the Royal Commission into Child Sex Abuse (on children in immigration detention).

We invite you to join us to experience the epic journeys of some extraordinary souls as captured by the incredible Ai Weiwei – this event is not to be missed and tickets are limited so get yours today!
