Naji and his brother Iele were in Homs when ISIS came to take it. Mirna remembers the flood of refugees coming to her village the night ISIS took Mosul. ISIS left Rafi’s home barren where once a beautiful garden grew.
These teenage refugees lived through the events you hear about on the evening news and now they share those stories with you. From the happy times before the war through survival and adjustment to life in Australia, they share their lives with open hearts.
When you watch these incredible teenagers perform their real life stories, you stand as witness to their journey and acknowledge their past pain and triumphs. Don’t miss your chance to hear, feel and live through these memories with our remarkable cast. You will laugh, you will cry and you will be transformed.
