    We are a diverse group of ordinary Australians from all sides of politics, living just outside Sydney.    The organisation has no specific religious affiliation.   We are all volunteers.

    To encourage positive attitudes to refugees in the community and at all levels of government.
    To welcome, befriend and assist refugees facing uncertain futures, in detention and in the community.

Autumn Raffle 2020 Making a Difference

Many refugees and asylum seekers have been fiercely independent until this crisis has robbed them of work and livelihood. We are hearing many stressful stories of people who are now facing destitution and don’t qualify for any benefits.

So our Annual Raffle is going ONLINE

 
 
 
 

The RAR Student Video & Poster Competition will go ahead

We are challenging young Australians of High School age to make a 1 minute video or a A3 poster which seeks to make a positive change in attitudes to people seeking asylum.

$500 PRIZE FOR THE WINNING VIDEOS

$100 PRIZE FOR THE WINNING POSTER

You could complete this in two weeks if you were self isolating.  Closing date; 31 July 2020.

Winners will be contacted in September 2020

    Proposed deportation of Ismail

    Ismail is a Hazara asylum seeker who has tried to obtain protection in several countries and is in danger of being deported by the Australian Immigration Department.
